Return to racing
2nd at Marathon des Vins de Blaye · 10th at Marathon du Médoc.
Returning to ultra-running after more than a decade. Rebuilding speed. Facing the Sahara. Then trying to earn a place on the Badwater 135 start line.
After a first athletic chapter shaped by victories on road, trail and ultra distances, I am returning to competition with a different experience of time, decision-making and endurance.
MDS Ultra 2027 will be the first major test. Badwater 135 is the horizon — subject to selection. The project already exists today through training, heat adaptation, scientific preparation, storytelling and partnerships.
“Past results prove experience. They will not run a single mile for me.”
Each stage has a purpose: rebuild speed, relearn duration, test the desert and heat, then apply.
2nd at Marathon des Vins de Blaye · 10th at Marathon du Médoc.
Target: sub-2:30. Speed as the foundation for the next cycle.
160 km in the Sahara. First major test of the return to competitive ultra-running. Sporting goal: podium.
Selection by application. The preparation and story exist regardless of selection.
If selected: 135 miles across Death Valley. Ultimate goal: become a finisher.
Not to live in the past, but to establish that the 2027 project is built on real experience of ultra-running, desert racing and competition.

Magazine cover, regional press, specialist media and television: the first sporting chapter already generated editorial attention.
The project is not simply about accumulating mileage. It documents a transformation: physical, technical and decision-making.
Progressive acclimation, controlled exposure and understanding human responses to thermal stress.
Rebuild the ability to last without losing speed, running economy or decision quality.
Pacing, nutrition, hydration, equipment and resource management on formats where mistakes compound.
Open the preparation to collaborations with researchers and laboratories working on heat adaptation and ultra-endurance.
What do we do when information is incomplete?
When should the plan change without losing the objective?
How do we distinguish persistence from obstinacy?
What happens to judgment under fatigue?
The activation is built before, during and after the MDS. One partner per business sector to preserve partnership value.
